Urgent appointments
If you feel you need an urgent appointment that same day, please try to call the surgery at 8.00am. The receptionist will take brief details about your problem to enable them to select an appropriate appointment for you. Where possible you will be offered an appointment on the day, but you may be asked to call back later in the day when more appointments are released or booked in for the following morning.
If your request is not medically urgent, you will be offered a routine appointment.

As a Rushcliffe patient you can access routine appointments in the evenings and at weekends. These appointments are best suited for things that will not need ongoing review by your usual practice.
You can book through your surgery during opening hours, for appointments between 6.30pm and 8.00pm in the evening on weekdays and between 8.30am and 5.00pm at weekends. If you request one of these appointments, which are outside of usual working hours, you will be offered a slot with a Rushcliffe GP, Nurse, Healthcare Assistant or First Contact Physiotherapist at one of four locations across the borough.
The location will depend on the day of your appointment.
The additional evening and weekend appointments will be available at:
- Cotgrave Surgery
- Castle Healthcare Practice in West Bridgford
- Keyworth Medical Practice
- Radcliffe-on-Trent Health Centre
- East Leake Health Centre
Please note that all enhanced hours appointments are pre-bookable only by contacting your own GP Practice. There is no walk-in service offered.
